Hi BRCS volunteer, 


With your help, 2012 was a great year for the BRCS organization.

We did 17 cleanups on 12 different rivers with over 250 volunteers helping us.  We took a lot of trash out of our rivers this summer.  A lot!   We are making a big difference to the cleanliness of our river here in NW Michigan.


Also, the BRCS obtained 4 canoes and a trailer that we used 4 times and we did lots of other things that we had never done before, thanks to you.

I hope this year will be just as exciting.


The projects planned for this year (2013) are as follows:


June 8 - BRCS - Combined project

June 11 - Upper Platte
June 15 - Betsie CS - Combined project

June 20 - N Br AuSable
July 5 - BRCS - NCF - Combined project

July 12 - Jordan
July 18 - S Br AuSable

July 25 - Little Manistee 
Aug 9 - Upper Betsie
Aug - 24 - 5 Rivers in 1 day - Combined project

Sept 21 - Upper Manistee - Combined project

Oct 3 - Main Br AuSable


With the Boardman so damaged by the flood of Oct 6th, we will plan some cleanups in that Brown Bridge to Beitner  section later when we can assess the damage better.
