We will meet at the Old Au Sable Fly Shop in Grayling at nine a.m. and proceed to the work site with materials and equipment. The project
should be complete by shortly after noon. We need four volunteers for the work.<div>
<br></div><div>On Thursday, June 26th, we'll meet at the former Frederic Dam site on the Au Sable at nine a.m. This is the site that the Mason Griffith Chapter removed dozens of old dam pilings and concrete fill two years ago and returned the river to its predam condition. What we have to do this time is undo the non authorized modification (a rock wing dam) that has developed over the past couple of years. <br>
</div><div><br></div><div>The July 10th Mc Master's Bridge Access Repair Project will be rescheduled for August due to the additional engineering required when the entire access washed away during this springs prolonged runoff. We'll let you know the new date in the next email.</div>
<div><br></div><div>On July 26th, Anglers of the Au Sable will be hosting a project to remove several old inactive beaver dams on the West Branch of Big Creek near Lovells. Lunch will be served so they need to know about how many volunteers will be showing up. The project will begin in the morning. We''ll get back to the Dam Removal Volunteers with the exact meeting time and location when they have been set.</div>
