Wednesday, November 8, we will be planting roughly 100 potted
mature-ish saplings. Mostly native fruit-bearing trees and shrubs, but a
couple of apple trees and spruce trees as well.</div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12228"><br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12229"></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12230">And we need some help! </div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12231"><br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12232"></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12233">The
planting site is actually the staging area created by a logging company
that performed a forestry cut for us two years ago. This site is where
we sourced the in-stream habitat wood that was place in the stretch of
river within the Brown Bridge Quiet Area bottomlands.</div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12234"><br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12235"></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12236">Lending
a hand on Wednesday would also be a good opportunity for anyone
interested in learning more about other restoration projects taking
place on the parkland.</div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12237"><br id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12238"></div><div id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1509985936391_12239">I'll
be on-site all day starting at 9:00. The access drive to the planting
site is marked with a grey "pin" on the map below. GPS-coordnaites are
also on the map. In short, its located roughly 100 yards north of Hobbs
