THANK YOU again for coming to Sketching in Hardware 2019. I am incredibly grateful for the best Sketching yet, thanks to you! This is going to be the last email to this mailing list. If this is your first Sketching, you'll probably have seen that I added you to sketching at thingm.com. This is the mailing list of everyone who has ever been at Sketching and, in addition to the Slack, it's how the community communicates throughout the year. It's a low-volume/generally high-signal mailing list that you should feel free to use to post exiting job openings that people from the Sketching community can fill and to ask hardware/prototyping/making questions you can't get answered elsewhere. If you have any questions about what is appropriate for the mailing list, feel free to ask me. CONTENTS - Concluding survey: PLEASE FILL OUT - Link to presentations - Link to photos CONCLUDING SURVEY ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ It's VERY important for us to understand your experience with Sketching 2019, so please take 15 minutes to fill out this ANONYMOUS survey about Sketching. The survey is the best way to tell us that something went completely off the rails so we can avoid doing it again, or that something was so great that we need to do it every year. Be as honest as you'd like. You won't hurt anyone's feelings. https://forms.gle/AVmbpJCNAg1MEZYz5 LINK TO PRESENTATIONS ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ At the event I asked you to upload your presentations to a Dropbox. Below is the link to the Dropbox with the presentations. Please DO NOT SHARE it beyond this group. Once I hear from folks who were at the event and may not want their presentations shared widely I'll make a public repository link, but this is not it. Please DO let me know if you'd like your presentation preserved, but not shared with the other participants or the public. I will remove it from the shared Dropbox. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hhogzs8yw7su61s/AAAtwzL049odHtf-9FQ5MTBQa?dl=0 LINK TO PHOTOS ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Below is the link to the Google Photos Album with photos from the event. Again, please DO NOT SHARE this publicly until folks have had a chance to see if there are any photos they'd like not shared. If there are photos of you that you'd like not shared, please let me know and I'll remove them from the shared album. https://photos.app.goo.gl/MBauSEBtZxJqd1Aq6 Once again, thank you, I am amazed at the breadth, depth, and thoughtfulness of everyone who attended Sketching this year. Stay in touch please be on the lookout for our announcement of Sketching in Hardware 2020 later this year A final thank you to our sponsors, without whom Sketching 2019 wouldn't have happened: Supplyframe, Beaglebone.org, Particle, Lemnos Labs, ThingM, and Cranbrook Academy of Art. -- Mike Kuniavsky mikek at sketching-in-hardware.com
