Hi Guys,
The BRCS is ongoing.
A lot of exciting things are happening over at the river. I talked to Steve Largent and Frank Duturi yesterday and Frank said that the river is clearing up and is looking good. The clarity is not back to normal but it's about 4 feet which is four feet more than it was back in November when we did the last cleanup of the year. I don't know yet is the river will be open for us to paddle the "new section from Shecks to Garfield Rd.
I have been busy doing "wintertime" stuff which includes skiing and soliciting prizes and licenses for the raffle.
The raffle is now all set with the top three prizes and you can look at the SUPER prizes we have at:
http://www.brcleansweep.org/Raffle_Poster_13.html
I will be sending out notes to some of those who bought tickets by mail last year but not the mass mailing I used to do. It's just too expensive now. You can go to the above page and download the order form. Print it using the PRINT PAGE command in FILE on your Browser.
That will save the BRCS quite a bit of money.
I will put your name, address and phone number on the tickets. I have a program that prints them quite nicely. I will email you a scanned image of the tickets with you name on them for your records if you wish.
Thanks for your support of the BRCS by supporting this raffle. These are the best prizes we have had for some time. I intend to get some more nice prizes before the drawing, so more folks will have a chance to win.
I hope you all are having a great winter.
Stay warm,
Norm
