FINAL CASITA ASSIGNMENTS
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Your final casita address is in this spreadsheet, please double check
since the numbers may have changed:

Let us know if you have any questions

CASITA/BIOSPHERE ACCESS
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Here is the Google Map point for Biosphere 2:

https://goo.gl/maps/V3XbD

Please park in the parking lot and go to the admissions office, where they
should have your name and casita location.

If you are arriving after hours, there's a 24-hour attendant. Here are the
instructions for how to get inside the gate and where to go from there:

"Upon arrival to B2, you will use the kiosk at the entrance gate. Please
follow the instructions, which are the numbers 061 and then the round
"call" button. This will connect you to our 24 hour attendant who will
buzz you through the gate. You will then proceed to the Visitor/Tour
parking lot, and park there. You will enter into the Visitor
Center/Admissions building at which point the attendant will meet you to
provide you with your key and direct you to your respective casita."

We have two maps of the location:
The campus map that covers the whole B2 area:

The village map that maps all the casitas:

MICHAEL SHILOH IS THURSDAY FOOD CZAR
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Because he's arriving on the early side, and he's a very generous person,
I asked Michael Shiloh to be food czar for Thursday evening. Leah has
given him the master list of food delivery places (it looks like it's
going to be pizza). If you arrive early, please come to Casita 1100, say
hi to Michael, and hang out.

THANK YOU, MICHAEL

Speaking of food: as a University of Arizona facility, there are
restrictions on the consumption of alcohol. We're checking into the policy
right now to see what the details are and will update this list when we
know.

FOOD ALLERGIES/RESTRICTIONS?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If you haven't told us about food allergies or restrictions, please do so
ASAP so we can tell the caterers.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If you sent us your arrival and departure times Janie will contact you
today about your transportation plan. Through her hard work I believe we
were able to get nearly everyone on a shuttle or some form of
transportation. Thank you, Janie!

If you did not tell us, unfortunately it's too late for us to get you into
our plan, since we've locked down all the times and shuttle sizes.

However, you still have transportation options.

>From Tucson you can take Arizona Stagecoach, which is a 24-hour shuttle
service that serves Biosphere 2. They cost about $85/trip.

>From Phoenix Sky Harbor express is about $250 per van, and there may be
cheaper options on the ground.

There's also Uber and Lyft, which Leah priced as somewhat cheaper (~$70
for UberX) from Tucson and somewhat more expensive ($200 for a single
UberX, $300 for an UberXL SUV) from Phoenix.

And, of course, you can rent a car.

EMERGENCY NUMBERS
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
If you get stuck, here are the emergency phone numbers you should call, in
roughly the order you should call them:

Me: +1 415-235-3468
Kim Land at Biosphere 2: +1 520-838-5013
Leah McKibbin: +1 650-868-2974

See you all very soon!
